Prof Cong Yang

Director

I am an Associate Professor in Soochow University since 2022. Before that, I was a Postdoc researcher at the MAGRIT team in INRIA (France). Later, I worked scientifically and led the computer vision and machine learning teams in Clobotics and Horizon Robotics. I earned my Ph.D. degree in computer vision and pattern recognition from the University of Siegen (Germany) in 2016.

Stanley Li

Deputy Director

Stanley Li, vice president of Horizon Robotics ecological development and strategic planning, focuses on fields such as autonomous driving, AI chips and edge computing, and is responsible for the strategic planning and ecological construction of Horizon Robotics.
With over 18 years of semiconductor industry experiences, he is an expert both in autonomous driving and automotive processor. Before joining Horizon Robotics, he served as the senior marketing manager of automotive business of application processors at NXP, as well as the security technology expert at Silan Microelectronics.

Wei Sui

Autonomous Driving

Wei Sui is a senior engineer at Horizon Robotics. He earned his Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent system from the CASIA (Institute of Automation, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences ) in 2016 and Bachelor‘s degree in Navigation Guidance and Control from Beihang University in 2011. After that, he worked as assistant research fellow at National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, CASIA until 2019. Later, he joined Horizon Robotics for research on 2.5D&3D vision in the area of autonomous driving, and built the auto labeling team.

Wen Dai

AI Toolchain

Dai Wen, Director of Algorithm Platform R&D, Horizon Robotics Platform Technology Department, is responsible for team management and development of technical products like chip algorithm tool chain, deep learning platform, embedded prediction library and model compression. Mr. Dai is a senior expert in artificial intelligence algorithm platform and big data analysis application with 16 years of experience in the IT industry and R&D team management. Before joining Horizon Robotics, he worked successively as technical director of Suning Cloud Business Big Data R&D Center and Artificial Intelligence R&D Center.

Weiyu Li

Intelligent Cockpit

Weiyu Li is a computer vision engineer at Horizon Robotics. He received bachelor's degree in software engineering and master's degree in computer technology from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2017 and 2019. His current research interests lie in computer vision and its applications. He has 3 years of experience working in fatigue driving detection.
